The Vegan 581 blends vintage-inspired style with modern comfort. Made from premium vegan materials, it’s lightweight, breathable, and built for all-day wear. A cushioned footbed and flexible outsole provide lasting support, ensuring effortless style and durability with every step.

    • Carbon Footprint: 4.81 lbs CO₂e per pair—thanks to natural and recycled materials that significantly cut emissions. (Compared to the average sneaker: 13.6 kg CO₂e, Cheah et al., 2013.)
    • Upper: Made from 35% corn waste and 65% bio-based, biodegradable polyurethane for a lower-impact, comfort focused fit.
    • Outsole: C—Base™ technology combines high-traction rubber with lightweight EVA, delivering a steady grip while absorbing impact for lasting comfort.
    • Footbed: Custom removable molded insole, wrapped in an anti-bacterial textile for enhanced support, freshness, and all-day wear.
    • Lining & Laces: Luxurious organic Italian textile and 100% bamboo laces for breathable, effortless comfort.

    • Fit: True to size. This style is available in whole sizes only and runs true to size. Wear a half size? Most customers size up for the perfect fit.
    • Product Care: Keep your shoes looking their best: Brush off dirt with a dry cloth or soft brush, then clean gently with a damp cloth and Oliver Cabell Premium Shoe Cleaner.
