I typically wear orthotics because my feet hurt without them. With these insoles, it does its job, no pain. Comfortable. I also like the fact that I don't have to trim it to fit the shoe, unlike the over-the-counter ones. Bonus, the orange adds a pop of color (although no one will notice while the shores are on :) ).
